WaveSafe is a private, offline music player for the music you own — on iPhone, iPad, Mac, and CarPlay. Below are answers to common questions. For anything else, email embergabor@gmail.com.
Open Settings and choose Import Folder… or Import Files…, then select the audio you want. On Mac, first pick a Library Folder where your music is stored. Supported formats include MP3, M4A/AAC, ALAC, FLAC, WAV, AIFF, and OGG.
Yes — completely. WaveSafe never connects to the internet. Your imported files play entirely on-device.
When enabled in Settings, WaveSafe evens out volume between tracks using each file's embedded ReplayGain tags. Files without loudness tags play unchanged.
Albums play back-to-back with no gap. Shuffle plays each track in full before moving on.
Connect your iPhone to a CarPlay-equipped vehicle to browse your Library, Genres, and Favorites, and control playback from the car's display.
